We are involved in processing as well as manufacture of salt and we have an annual capacity of 100,000 MT of Triple washed Refined salt and 100,000 MT Non-refined sun-dried salt.  Additionally BSC has its own salt pans spreading across 90.72 Hectare with an annual production capacity of close to 100,000 MT.

Over the years Bharat Salt Company has been involved in various research projects with its customers and research institutes,  The most recent project was undertaken in collaboration with Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (‘CSMCRI’) Bhavnagar, where a study and experiment was undertaken to produce salt with a purity of 99% NaCl content by making modification to the bed of crystallizers of the salt pan and by treating the Brine with chemicals to achieve the required results.  Bharat Salt Co. has also conducted in house studies to achieve uniformity in particle size of the granules by using Roller grinders, Pin mills, Hammer Mills, wet mills and Ball Mills.  We developed a process by which it has achieved more than 99% NaCl content in its salt for the Chloro Alkali Industry.
